Easy-Apply Liquid Lawn Seed Spray
Liquid lawn seed spray is an innovative solution that allows for quick and effective lawn establishment or patching up bare spots. Thanks to a formula that creates an adhesive mousse, the seeds stay in place while retaining the moisture necessary for germination. Enjoy a beautiful, green lawn in just a couple of weeks, without the hassle of scattering seeds or laying down straw.
Key benefits:
- All-in-one: Seeds, fertiliser and moisture-retaining mulch combined in one easy-to-use liquid.
- Even growth: The foam formula makes it easy to visually check coverage, ensuring even grass growth across the entire area.
- Erosion protection: The adhesive formula protects seeds from being washed away by rain, blown away by wind or eaten by birds.
-
Natural moisture retention: The integrated mulch stimulates moisture retention in the soil, accelerating germination.

What the set contains:
- 1× liquid grass seed spray
- 1× bottle with liquid formula
How it works (3 simple steps):
- Prepare the ground: Remove weeds and stones, then gently loosen the top layer of soil with a rake.
- Connect the hose: Connect the spray bottle directly to a standard garden hose.
- Spray: Turn on the valve and evenly spray the prepared area. The foam will show you exactly where the seeds have already been applied.
Watering schedule for best results:
- Days 1–14 (germination phase): Water gently twice a day — once in the morning and once in the evening. Keep the soil consistently moist, but not waterlogged. The foam mulch will help retain moisture between waterings.
- Days 15–30 (rooting phase): Reduce watering frequency to once a day. The grass should already be visibly growing and starting to take root.
- After day 30: Water as needed depending on rainfall and soil moisture. Established grass is drought-resistant and does not require daily watering.
Important: Do not allow the sprayed area to dry out completely during the first 14 days. Dry conditions during germination are the most common cause of poor results.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):
How quickly can I see results?
Initial germination results are usually visible within 7 to 14 days, depending on temperature and regular watering.
Can I use this spray on existing lawns?
Yes, the spray is ideal for thickening existing lawns and repairing bare spots caused by pets or mechanical damage.
Why is liquid seeding better than traditional methods?
The liquid formula (hydroseeding) seals the seeds in a moist foam with fertiliser. As a result, the seeds are not blown away by the wind, eaten by birds or washed away by rain, which significantly increases their chances of taking root.
Is the spray easy to use?
Yes, the device is designed to work like a standard garden hose nozzle. Simply connect the hose, turn on the water and spray the selected area.
What type of grass seed is included?
The formula contains a premium blend, including perennial ryegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, tall fescue and red fescue — fast-germinating varieties suitable for most climates. It is ideal for decorative lawns, repair patches and moderate-traffic areas.
What temperature is required for germination?
Seeds germinate best at soil temperatures between 15°C and 25°C. The best time for application is spring (April–May) or early autumn (August–September). Do not apply during frost or when temperatures consistently stay below 8°C.
Can I use it in a shaded area?
The formula is suitable for partial shade (areas that receive at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day). It is not suitable for deep shade where grass would not normally grow.
What if the grass does not germinate?
The most common causes of poor germination are insufficient watering during the first 14 days, application in temperatures below 8°C or application on compacted soil that was not loosened beforehand. If you followed all instructions and do not see growth after 21 days, contact us — we will help you resolve the issue, and if the product did not work as expected, we will organise a replacement or refund.
When can I walk on the sprayed area?
Avoid walking on the sprayed area for at least 4 weeks after application or until the grass reaches a height of about 5 cm. Walking on newly germinated grass before it takes root will destroy the seedlings.
Does the bottle come with a hose connector?
Yes — the bottle is designed to connect directly to a standard garden hose. For most standard garden hoses, no additional adapter is required.
How long does the green foam last?
The green foam indicator usually fades within 1–3 days as it dries and the seeds begin to take root. This is normal and expected — the seeds remain in place even after the foam disappears.
Can I apply it to existing grass to thicken it?
Yes — the formula works well for overseeding sparse or thinned-out lawns. For best results, mow the existing grass short before application so that the seeds can reach the soil surface.
